Beginning October, 2025 I started a brand new channel called BRENDAN GOES OUTSIDE.

While it may seem I’m out and about lots creating Brendan’s Odyssey videos, the reality is that I spend an hour or two on-site filming, followed by MANY more hours sitting at a computer. While that’s fine, I’m getting fat and need to get outside more. Luckily, I love hiking and camping!

Thus, BRENDAN GOES OUTSIDE include very different videos. They’re longform and not scripted, with the idea that they’re lighter on the computer work to create.

I do wish to excel and standout amongst the crowd, however. There is no shortage of videos about hiking and camping, even in Western Australia. So, I do try to include plenty of humour, delve into the history of the locale (I can’t help myself) and encourage others to also go outside. Basically, my goal is to make the least dry video possible of myself walking through the bush.
