So I finally bought a mountain bike

I'm not exactly sure when this bike was manufactured, but likely before 2015. I paid $150 on Facebook Marketplace and it's a Trek 3700 (in case you're wondering). That doesn't really mean a whole lot to me.

I purchased this mostly for rail trails. I'll be exploring those on this channel, but it will be useful for filming duties over on Brendan's Odyssey.

The problem I'm facing (as of filming) is that the Subaru is currently feeling unwell. I'll explain that situation fully in this video, but I've been itching to try out the bike, but can't drive to the start of any mountain bike trails. So, the goal of this video will be to ride from my house to whatever is closest.

In my case, that's the beginning of the Eastern Railways Route #1 in Bellevue. We'll follow that, checking out the remains of train stations, hospitals and several quarries in Greenmount. I'll then turn around and pedal all the way home because, you know, no car :(
