I improved my car camping setup! // 2020 Subaru Forester

It's been about a year and plenty of camping trips since I built a sleeping platform for my 2020 Subaru Forester. While functional, I began to regret the idea of including storage underneath. Clearance was low - and while that was perfectly fine for sleeping once you're in there, it was difficult to get in and out of. We have to keep in mind that I'm 6 ft 2 and sleep on my side!

So, for the start of Western Australia's camping season, I've decided to do away with the storage and rebuilt the platform as low as possible, while also keeping it level. The back seats don't fully fold down flush, so the lowest possible height will depend on that.
