Can I multiday hike using just public transport?

For my second ever multiday hike, I thought I'd take a popular route close to Perth , but with a twist! I'm going to attempt this using just public transport. Relying on the TransPerth network, I'll be catching a train to Midland and then the 320 bus to Mundaring.

From there, I'll get on the KEP Track, following that until Mundaring Weir. This portion of the KEP Track is particularly interesting to me because it was once the spur line that helped build Mundaring Weir and the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme.

Since I've just released a whole video about that project over on my other channel, Brendan's Odyssey, it was great to walk it end to end. It will probably get its own video one day, so this was also a bit of a reconnaissance mission as I tried to spot remains.

Once I arrived at the weir, I crossed over it and hopped onto the Bibbulmun Trail. Heading towards Kalamunda, I camped overnight at Hewett's Hill Hut. The next morning, I hiked the remainder of the Bibb to its northern terminus in Kalamunda. This section took me through the Kalamunda National Park and near Rocky Pool.

From there, the fun didn't end. The journey home required hopping on the 275 bus to High Wycombe train station. I then had to take that to Bayswater, swapping over to the Midland line in order to get home.
