Western Australia's oldest national park*

Is Walyunga National Park the oldest national park in Western Australia? It is according to a random Wikipedia page! Let's hike the Echidna Trail and investigate if there's any truth to what the fountain of knowledge says. We'll also get rained on, explore the start of the Swan River (and the end of the Avon River), find an active fire watch tower, and also the remains of John Forrest's 1878 survey through the region. This was part of the Walyunga Survey Heritage Trail, which is now quite overgrown - so that was a mission in its own right!
