Driving a Freo line train... on my computer

A bit of a wildcard here, but I wanted to try out a demo for a new game called Fastrak: Metro. The name might give it away for those who remember the old Fastrak service on the (modern day) TransPerth train network. The game is an arcade train sim and will include tracks from Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. There seems to be a particular emphasis on Perth since the developer, Turbocobra Interactive, is a local!

In this video, I try my hand at a section of the Fremantle line - one I’ve ridden personally many, many times.

I know it’s a bit odd posting it on this channel, but it’s a bit too specific (and new) for my retro gaming channel. If it was a public video, the YouTube algorithm would also have a meltdown… so, Members video it is! I do create railway content after all.
